It is now possible to define whether to use the latest sales price, the original price you have decided to use permanently or a mark-up%. When a mark-up percent is defined on the customer, alternatively if preferred the standard Navision price setup or even if it is defined that the latest price should be used these will automatically apply when the order lines are inserted. Consequently, these rules also apply to orders coming from the ShipServ trade platform.
The “Mark-up %” and the “Use latest sales price” functionality streamlines the order-taking process by taking into account the pricing strategy of the ship supplier. The facility minimizes the number of manual corrections and overriding of prices, hence minimizing the number of errors in manually entered information. Further, traders or sales oriented individuals can now avoid spending hours finding the last sales price given, consequent ensuring the obvious synergy and advantages that lies in providing a creditable, consistent and coherent way of making sales towards existing customers.
