The Navision Ship Supplier solution is now applicable with new features that improve the sales process that keeps track of lost quote lines. When a quote line is deleted the user will be prompted for a lost reason code. The deleted quote line is saved together with the lost reason code. Important information regarding why previous quotes were lost, as well as price, delivery time etc. can be analysed from the Lost quotes line window. With all this information management and the salesperson is in a better position to decide on pricing issues, delivery terms or other conditions for the quote. The information about why previous quotes were lost is valuable information to the salespeople. By preserving this information and making it available to the salesperson on the sales quotes, better decisions can be made in the selling process, and finally be used as an intelligent management tool to analyze where action e.g upon subcontractors should be taken accordingly.
